Chippy seems not just one but several lives away. Lost in the mists of dreams and strange clothes fashions. Life and work now is challanging, very enjoyable and rewarding. My best wishes to everyone where ever you are now and in the years ahead.

Tim lived in Fordham, Cambridgeshire, with his wife Linda. He had two children, Terry and Sarah, and two grandchildren, Nathan and David. He worked as a lorry driver both in England and abroad. He had been suffering from an undiagnosed condition for some years which was not discovered in time, and sadly died on Easter Sunday, April 12th, this year, aged 58. Tim loved his time at Chippy school and often reminisced about it. He was a popular pupil as he was in later life when he had many friends. He is greatly missed by his family in Chippy and Fordham.

Well I'm now living in beautiful Brisbane in Queensland and working as the Training Services Manager for an information management company.

I remember Allan Swann he and I were really good mates, Keith Whykes, Malcom Fiddler, Jenny Harrison, Jane Cripps, Jane Kench, and all the others who were friends of these.

I've been in Australia since 1963 and have never been back "home" hopefully will be there in late 2003 or early 2004. We used to have the Oxford House pub in Horsefair. Well I guess we have all changed a bit in the 40 years since I last saw anyone. I would love to have a pint or several when I get over there.

Now Gillian Bolton.
Moved to live in Chippy (8 Middle Row- was a hairdressers then) with my brother Phil and mum in 1957. I did about a term at the girls school (Burford Road?) where I remember Anne and Julie being very kind to me as a new girl and then went to the Grammar probably, in the first year of it being joined with the secondary. I remember the chaos of tramping between the two sites, constantly being wet and late despite rushing. My brother did about 18 months at the boys school down Church Street before joining the Grammar. We left in about 1962 moving to live near Oxford and I lost touch with most friends. I am married with two children and two grandchildren. Would be happy to hear from anyone who remembers me or my brother.

September 2006. At my belated 60th birthday I had 2 special guests - Anne (Priestland) and Sue (Tait) We had not seen each other for over 40 years.We have since met up again, in a garden centre cafe and spent at least 4 hours talking and drinking several pots of tea! Just lovely catching up on our lives and remembering names and events. As well as passing the age of 60 I now have 3 grandchildren and another one on the way early 2007

After leaving school, I did a 6 year electronics apprenticeship at the Royal Radar Establishment in Malvern, followed by 10 years working in Worcester, then 30 years as a computer hardware engineer with ICL / Fujitsu at Bracknell, Basingstoke and other locations. I live back in Chippy since 1999, having married a Chippy girl, Anne Coleman, widow of the late Phil Barnes who was also a Chippy School pupil. I retired in 2006.

I have a daughter and son from a previous marriage; daughter a Lieutenant in the Royal Navy, flies in Merlin helicopters; son is a graphics designer in London, also married with 2 children.
