Moved to Exeter in 1978 still live there. Married Kevin Southard, Guy Southard's
brother (Guy was in my year) had 2 children with Kevin, Kate, now 22 and

Left Chippy to live in Milan, Italy, where I stayed for 13
years. Met my ex American husband in Milan and then moved to Chicago US.
Have two children Emily 15 and Jonathan 13. Returned to Europe in 1996,
where I lived in Brussels and met my 2nd hubby Charly. Last year we all
moved to Tuscany, Italy, where we run our own business and have a holiday

Where to start, 1976 might be one idea but I can't remember
that far back.
* Married to Carole, one child Charlotte and always a pet about.
* Still working in the gambling business, casinos mainly and awaiting
the new dawn of relaxed legislation or retirement with the latter the
more likely.
* Am now 50, as are all of those that left in 1975 and still survive.
* Rarely ever visit Chippy, but stop off in Banbury for petrol and the
Banbury Guardian just to see if anyone I can remember has got themselves
into the news.
* Like everyone else would like to attend the next reunion, having missed
the last one, but not enough to actually arrange it.
* So if you know of a 'completer finisher' from our year tell them to
get on with it.
* Other than that hope old friends are well and happy.

I am a football referee and secretary of the local Mini Soccer League.
I work for a Southampton based railway livery supplier working
as Sales Account Manager I am based at home selling to the railway industry
north of Birmingham.

Back in '77 I was intending to return after the summer holidays to the
6th form. Got offered a job instead with a wildlife film unit called Oxford
Scientific Films. Spent 9 years with them learning how to make films. Went
freelance in 1985 as Cameraman and worked for many years for BBC, Survival,
Discovery, National Geographic, etc. This culminated in making my own film
called 'The Condor, The Coyote & The Canyon' for Survival/Discovery.
I spent 18 months living in Arizona to make it and it was screened on Channel
4 in 1998 (and many times since). Did a few years more camerawork on the
BBC's 'Congo' & 'Wild Africa' series before switching careers to Special
Effects work in cinema (I had done bits and pieces over the years). Worked
on 'Black Hawk Down', 'James Bond - Die Another Day', 'Tomb Raider 2 - The
Cradle Of Life' and 'Batman Begins'. Currently working on trying to get
my own TV series off the ground called 'Living As Martians' but can't find
anybody with £8 million to make it!
Still live within 20 miles of Chippy but am moving to New Zealand in late
2006. Sister Nicola is married and living in Australia.
Half sister Lynn in married and lives in Brighton.
Caught up with William Hemmings earlier this year. Anybody know where Guy
Thompson, Kevin Nunan, Janice Molyneaux or JJ Baker are?? Would love to
hear from anyone else I knew at school. Is Will Messenger still teaching
biology there? Did anyone become famous?

Hi Everyone, Don't know who will remember me, I was the "quiet yankee"
in school!
For those of you that believe that I will write some more lies on here!
I think this site is really great and got to see quite a few names on here
of people that I remember, quite amazing actually! I am still living in
the States, actually going to college, (that is the truth!) I live in New
Mexico, have three grown daughter's and one grand-daughter. Still loving
life and having fun, but still haven't learned how to stay out of trouble
while doing so!
I really hope the few of you that remember me will e-mail, cuz I do know

Currently Chief Officer on new build of 440' private yacht in N. Germany.
For the last 9 months I have only been getting home every other weekend...quite
a pain. Yacht is due for completion in May.
Palma de Mallorca will then be our home base.

I have been married to Adrienne since 1995 and we have a seven year old
daughter, Alissa and a son, Matthew, who is 4 (Mar 06). I lived in Banbury
for many years but we now live in Hook Norton. I was Electronic Production
Engineer at Menvier Electronics in Banbury for 15 years but was made redundant
in 2000 when the place was closed. Since then I have been trying to get
back into permanent work but so far my record is 17 months before redundancy
strikes again. 5 jobs on I am presently (Mar 06) working as a freelance
contractor but still hoping to get backto something "permanent".
Not much time for hobbies with a young family but I am now a qualified steam
loco fireman and also have a 1965 Riley 1.5 which is almost identical to
the one I drove back in the 80s. No pirate radio activities any more I'm
sorry to say but I was the engineer responsible for putting the (legal)
Banbury FM on air in 2002!

I joined the RAF in 1980 as an Assistant Air Traffic Controller
and stayed nearly 4 years. I met my husband there we've been married 20

What a great site! Did I really have that much hair?! Since
leaving Chippy in 1980, I have been living in Southampton, working for Ordnance
Survey, currently as Sales Manager. I am happily married to Sharron &
have two lovely daughters Rachel, 12 & Louise, 8 from my previous marriage.
Often return to Chippy to see my Mum, Dad & brothers (remember The Twins?!)&
quite often bump into a few familiar faces in The Chequers or The Kings.
Have kept in touch with most of the old crew - Danny, Steve L, John Forde,
Mark & Chris, Nick, Ben most of whom turned up at my wedding in 1997
to give us the mother of all suprises!!

Ex Chad. Now really travelled - as far as the Wychwoods. Still following
Oxford United (now in their hour of need) and still mad on The Eagles. Saw
them for the ninth time at O2 at Easter, following on a trip to Los Angeles
in October to see them open the Nokia Theatre Live. Now a medical secretary,
keeping our local GPs on their toes. Face and body say different, but only
aged fourteen in heart and mind!

Left school and became a Carpenter and Joiner. Went into
Sales for a year then left to join the Thames Valley Police. Sent to Slough
for my sins a culture shock compared to Chippy.Have now been in the Police
for 15 years having been on Traffic for most of that time. Married to Nicky
for the last thirteen years have two boys Matthew 9yrs and Joshua 3yrs.

I now live in Stockport, married to Patricia with two daughters,
Amy 9 & Roby 6.
I have my own business, Northpoint [www.northpoint.ltd.uk]
and we paint metal, lots of it.
I have also a timber merchant, Stockport Timber, my pride & joy.
The businesses don't need me anymore, so at 42 I spend my time on recovery
projects for banks and financial institutions. Unfortunately, not always
a pleasant experience for the businesses I am asked to sort.
Despite the best efforts of Chippy, I have a degree from York/UCLA and
an MBA from Manchester Business School.
After 14 years in Manchester I still can't get used to cold fizzy bitter
with a head, fortunately my habits are sufficiently well know to my local
that a pint is poured and allowed to go warm and flat ahead of my arrival.
God bless the northern sociability.
I have renewed my since-primary school association with Robert Keylock
this year. A really nice, humourous chap with a lovely family.

family moved to London where I've been ever since. Going to my new school,
a Hampstead Grammer school, was a culture shock to say the least. It was
like arriving on a set from Grange Hill!

Hello there
Left school and became a butcher for 4 yrs then decided i wanted to work
at the chocolate factory in Banbury which is where i am still,might get
a proper job one day.Studying(thought all this finished when we left school)and
attempting to pass my NVQ level 3 in food and drink at the moment,working
as a co-ordinator with a shift of half wit childish neurotics(school again)
who take the p*ss out of me for being a village boy, great bunch of idiots
though.

moved around a bit over the years,have lived by the essex coast ,near
clacton for the last five years. married to yvonne for twelve years. three

years. been running an outreach care agency which i started a few years

After moving from Chippy to Chesham I have finally settled
in East Anglia (Framlingham Suffolk) via Newbury and Yately. A few years
as a business analyst (Racal/Bank Of Ireland/BCT) and then University of
Essex where I got an Hons degree in electronics and computing. Then Marconi
(blahhh) and the last 10 years as an IT contractor (mostly at the BT Labs
at Martlesham). So much change, hard work, and good rewards. I am currently
married with six children (four inherited).
Chippy seems not just one but several lives away. Lost in the mists of
dreams and strange clothes fashions. Life and work now is challanging,
very enjoyable and rewarding. My best wishes to everyone where ever you
are now and in the years ahead.
